A donation to the Village Schools Project will aid a good cause, can cut down your tax bill, and give you a sweet perk. What could you get?

How does it work? You need to claim the sweet perk of your choice (possibilities depending on the amount of your donation and some perks have a limited edition). Firstly make your donation; see our donation page for the bank details. Secondly send us an email (info@jdfund.org) with proof of payment, your post address, and the present of your choice from the list below. If you make your donation in another currency then US dollars, consult the current exchange rate of your bank.

For a donation of $150.00USD you can receive a printed poster and an A4 original drawing made by Ju/’hoan Village School learners. The art work will be sent via normal postal service.

Ostrich Egg necklace/ bracelet   $300

For a donation of $300.00USD you can receive a beautiful hand crafted necklace or bracelet made from ostrich shells. You can choose either a round necklace, flat bracelets or round bracelets. Choose from natural white or a combination of white and light brown. Your perk will be gift-wrapped and send to you by normal postal service.

Print from Lynne-Mary Eatwell  $500

For a donation of $500.00USD you can receive a limited edition Fine Art Print by artist Lynne-Mary Eatwell, taken from her collection ‘Faces of the Khoisan’. In 2013 Lynne started working on a collection of portrait paintings of the Ju/’hoan in the Nyae Nyae Conservancy. Five different prints are available; first to claim the perk gets first choice.

For a donation of $1,000.00USD you can receive a signed portrait by photographer David Bruce. David has exhibited his work in New York, London and Hamburg. For this perk he has produced a photographic colour in an edition of 20.

Sweet perk in Paris

Visit a Village School $5000

For a donation of $5,000.00USD you can get a organised trip to the Nyae Nyae Conservancy. After the first ‘Nyae Nyae Village School’ is completed we will invite you to visit the newly built school. You will be collected in Windhoek and transported to the Nyae Nyae Conservancy, where you will spend a week exploring the region with project manager David Bruce and a Ju/’hoan guide. Facilities during the trip will be basic and conditions will be discussed before the trip.

Name a Village School $10000

For a donation of $10,000.00USD you can name a Village Schools. With this donation we will name and dedicate a newly built Village School to you or your company. After “your” Nyae Nyae Village School is completed we will invite you to officially open the school. You will be collected in Windhoek and transported to the Nyae Nyae Conservancy, where you will spend a week exploring the region with project manager David Bruce and a Ju/’hoan guide. Facilities during the trip will be basic and conditions will be discussed before the trip.
